Project Details

Maker Days is an agency-wide, fun innovation sprint where internal teams form mini agencies of different disciplines to build an app, website, or prototype in a short period time. The brief involved creating an innovative idea that leverages new and exciting technology and/or platforms, to bring attention to an important issue amongst underserved communities in America, cutting through complacency, disrupting culture, and having a positive impact on society. The process culminates in a pitch to the Barbarian Leadership Panel, with one winning team’s presentation to the whole agency. 

Valued Added as a Project Manager

  • Worked alongside the entire agency + CEO and other C Level leadership across all disciplines (Account, Creative, Strategy, Tech, and Finance) 

  • Developed and managed multiple timelines to ensure there is enough time to build out the event 

    • Timeline 1: ​Ideation to Completion of Assets to announce event (Animated graphic, copy, formal email) - inclusive of internal sign-offs/approvals

    • Timeline 2: Order the products, services needed to arrive in time for the day of event without burning over budget

    • Timeline 3: Strategy team to work alongside leadership to develop the brief and judging scorecard that will be utilized to kick off the event

    • Timeline 4: Day of Event - ensure all teams understand and follow the itinerary for the event

    • Timeline 5: Post-Event - leadership and creative team to work together to develop a sizzle reel and case study

  • Lead the design of the event: Neon light sign, Posters, Red Carpet, Step & Repeat Banner, Balloons, etc

  • Filmed/Edited a Video to showcase the event from outside the building to inside the event space 

  • Ensured the set up of the event were strategically placed for maximum efficiency 

  • Ensured the agency was up to date on next steps and the day to day itinerary of the event

  • Monitored all teams group chats to ensure everyone was doing their part and is set up for success to be in front of the judges

  • Encouraged everyone to participate in the event and have fun

PROJECT SCENE NYC:
CHRISTMAS POP UP

Project Details

This was a passion project. This Christmas Pop Up was designed, built, managed by Diana and her colleague. This 4 day Pop Up Event was specifically created right after COVID with the intention of creating a space for the community to feel welcome to interact, capture pictures/content, play games and build memories with friends/family for the holidays. 

Tasks Included:

  • Brainstormed creative ideas on how to make the space fun but practical 

  • Developed and managing a budget of $10k

  • Scouted spaces through vendors for the event while keeping in mind location, foot traffic, layout, marketing, etc

  • Sketched out the floor plan of how we plan to utilize the space

  • Worked with a ticket vendor to establish a platform to buy/sell tickets for the event

  • Purchased products/items needed for the space while keeping in mind timing of delivery 

  • Developed event graphic with Adobe and other assets to utilize for advertisement

  • Developed some of the art props and games by hand

  • Conducted a practice run by booking a photo studio to ensure the results are still aligned with the creative vision 

  • Loaded and unloaded the truck in one shift 

  • Decorated the event space within three hours

  • Interacted with customers and also helped them to take professional photos as an additional benefit

  • Managed and monitored the Instagram page

  • At the closing of the event - ensured all billings and invoices were settled

  • Post Mortem - developed a lessons learned doc on where we can improve within our process and what we were already doing that was working well
